主讲人简介：

John Whalley is a Professor of Economics at University of Western Ontario, Canada; Research Associate, National Bureau of Economic Research, USA; Coordinator, Global Economy Group, CESifo, University of Munich, Germany; Distinguished Fellow, Centre for Global Governance Innovation, Canada, Ontario. Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada; Fellow of The Econometric Society; Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

He obtained his Ph.D from Yale University in June 1973. He was a lecturer in Economics at London School of Economics from 1973 to 1976; Associate Professor of Economics at University of Western Ontario from 1976to 1978; Professor of Economics at University of Western Ontario from 1978 onwards.
